2024 Year in Review

Can you believe how quickly 2024 has flown by? The holiday season is officially here! Our team has been busy getting cozy at home, all while gearing up for quality time with family and friends. It’s such a great time of year, and as we approach 2025, we can’t help but reflect on the incredible projects we've been working on this past year.

We’re filled with gratitude for our amazing clients—working with you has been a true delight! In this post, we’ll shine a spotlight on four standout projects from 2024 that are set to break ground in 2025. Let’s dive in!

1. Hendry Crossing - Renovation

The Hendry Crossing project was a true labor of love this year. When our clients came to us, they had a big vision: take their side-split home and turn it into something modern, open, and totally jaw-dropping.

We started by letting the light in—large windows, glass panels, and clever layouts turned this once-closed-off space into a bright, airy retreat where nature feels like part of the décor. This design is packed with thoughtful touches, like a separate family wing for maximum privacy and an entryway that keeps the hustle of life from spilling into the quieter corners of the home.

Every detail was about balancing style and function. It’s modern without feeling cold, spacious without losing that cozy vibe. We can’t wait to see this home come to life when it breaks ground next year!

2. Lakeview - New Build / Interior Design

The Lakeview project might just be one of the coziest designs we’ve worked on. Set on the shores of Lake Simcoe, this new build was all about giving a busy family their dream escape—a place to kick back, relax, and soak up the beauty of cottage life.

What made this project particularly special was the challenge of uniting diverse personal tastes into one cohesive vision. Each family member brought unique ideas to the table, and it was our privilege to create a harmonious design. By combining traditional cottage charm with sleek modern elements, we created a transitional style that honors the past while embracing the future.

The interiors reflect this balance, featuring warm wood tones, curated textiles, and contemporary finishes that elevate the overall aesthetic. Functional details—such as a spacious kitchen for shared meals and thoughtfully placed windows to capture the lake’s serene beauty—ensure the home is as practical as it is beautiful.

And it’s not just pretty to look at—it’s built for making memories. Whether it’s big family dinners, lazy mornings by the lake, or game nights around the fire, Lakeview is ready to host it all. We’re so excited for this family to start creating their story here.

3. Eight Mile Point - New Build

Eight Mile Point has been a project near and dear to us for quite some time, and we’re thrilled to share that the design is officially complete! Now, with construction drawings underway, this family retreat is one step closer to reality.

The clients wanted a cottage that combined the charm of a bungalow with the spaciousness needed for family gatherings. To maintain harmony with the existing boathouse on the property, we incorporated design elements that complement its aesthetic—white window frames paired with matching mullions, darker siding, and stone accents for a timeless yet cohesive look.

Situated on a hillside, the cottage takes full advantage of its stunning location. Two expansive decks provide ample space for outdoor relaxation and entertainment, while the walkout basement ensures easy access to the surrounding natural beauty. With its thoughtful design and connection to the landscape, this cottage will undoubtedly become a cherished retreat for years to come.

our team has had the privilege of working on a wide range of exciting projects over the last year, and we are incredibly grateful for the trust and support of our clients.
